緑が綺麗に見えますししっとりした景色も今ならではですね。

とは言え、あっという間に梅雨明けでしょうか。

暑い暑い夏までもう少しです。

どうか酷暑にはならず程々に暑い夏を望みます。

The greenery looks beautiful, and the damp scenery is something we can only experience right now.

That said, the rainy season will soon come to an end.

We’re almost at the hot, sweltering summer. I hope it’s a moderately hot summer rather than an extremely hot one.

さてあっという間に7月後半です。7月といえばフジロック。大変素晴らしいのですがコロナで開催中止になり、少し前に再開してからも行けていません。なんだかんだ毎年気になっていますので久しぶりにチケットの値段を見ましたが驚きました。3日通し券60,000円するのですね、私が初めて行った頃は20,000円と少しくらいだった様な気がします。だんだん思い出してきましたが20年くらい前です。世間の物価は変化し続け約3倍です。収入は。。。あまり考えすぎず楽しんだもの勝ちですね。行けば楽しいフジロック。自分なりのタイムテーブルを組んで一日中見て歩く、木陰で昼寝、たくさんビールを呑む。ほぼ現地でだけ会う友人と乾杯する。たまたま通り掛かった時に知らないアーティストの楽曲に触れて物凄く好きになる。こんな事がわずか隣の街で開催されていて非日常を味わえます。地元、地の利を活かして前夜祭だけでもいこうかしらと思っては見送っている今日この頃です。仕事もプライベートも楽しんだもの勝ち。瞬発力がものを言い、そこでその後の様々が変わっていくと信じています。踊らにゃそん。それで良いんだと思います何もしないより。と言うことでお隣湯沢町で開催されるイベントです。中学生まで無料だそうですので是非。良く見たらなんと金曜ナイト券などと言うものが！むむむ。

 

It's already mid-July, and when It comes to July, It's Fuji Rock! It’s truly wonderful, but it was canceled due to COVID-19, and even after it resumed, I haven't been able to attend. I’ve been interested every year, so I recently checked the ticket prices and was astonished. A three-day pass now costs ¥60,000, whereas when I first went, I think it was around ¥20,000. It’s been about 20 years, so I suppose it's not surprising that prices have tripled. The cost of living keeps changing, and income... well, it’s better not to overthink it and enjoy what you can. Fuji Rock is so much fun. You can create your own schedule, spend all day exploring, nap in the shade, drink lots of beer, and toast with friends you only see there. Sometimes, you might stumble upon a song by an unknown artist that you end up loving. It’s incredible to experience such an extraordinary event in a town so close by. I’ve been contemplating whether to at least attend the pre-event in my neighboring town, Yuzawa. Both work and personal life are about enjoying what you can. I believe that quick decisions can change various outcomes. You might as well dance—it’s better than doing nothing. Speaking of which, there’s an event happening in Yuzawa Town, and it looks like middle school students get in free. It seems there’s even a Friday night ticket! Hmm, interesting.
